To endorse a policy in the Dais platform, please use the following steps:
- From the top navigation bar, click ‘Customers’
- In the Customer List, click on the client name of the Customer that needs the policy endorsement
- Select ‘Policies’ on the Customer Details page
- Click on the policy number, then ‘endorsement.’ A list of available endorsement options will populate.
- Select the applicable endorsement
- Select your endorsement effective date
- Click 'continue'
- Enter any applicable endorsement information
- From here, you can either click on 'save, continue later,' which will create a draft endorsement, or 'issue endorsement' which will allow you to process your changes.
- For premium-bearing endorsements you can view the impact of the endorsement to the premium by clicking on 'Financial Breakdown.'
- Review the changes to the policy. If all looks good, click ‘issue endorsement.’
- The endorsement will be issued, and new policy documents will be generated on the left-hand side of the screen under ‘Timeline.’ Clicking on the document will allow you to print or download it.
- If you choose Save, continue later you will see the endorsement in the timeline on the left side of the screen.
- You can add comments to remind you what you changed, or what additional information is needed.
- Pinning a comment will allow you or others to quickly access it in the future
- Starring a note will add a flag, making that note always visible.
