Completing the Post-Raas deviation template

If your line already has a Deviation Sandbox Template uploaded then use that template.  If not, contact support@dais.com for a copy of the Deviation Sandbox Template.

There is a unique template for each line.  The template contains the instructions for setting up the template.

Complete the template.  If additional questions are needed to collect custom rating info, add them to the product at this time.

 

Uploading and Activating the Post-RaaS Template

 

Navigate to the Verisk rating action and click the slider from red to green to enable the Post-Raas Deviation capability.

Linking the PostRaaS Template to the API

Click "Upload Excel Spreadsheet"

Click "Map questions and quote data to the adjustment spreadsheet" to link the sandbox deviation template to the API.

Modifying LCMs and PMFs 

If the LCM and PMFs are static then they are reflected in the rating algorithm worksheet of the template.   If the rating factor is variable then link the Verisk trigger question to the corresponding cell on the input page.  The necessary spreadsheet formulas to drive the variable LCM and PMF factors should be set up in the prior step - Completing the PostRaas Deviation Template.  The example shows linking the Property Type question to drive PMF selection.

After completing changes, click "Save Mappings" and then "Save event group."

Modifying Verisk Rating Factors

If the rating factor is static then it is reflected in the rating algorithm worksheet of the template.  If the rating factor is variable then link the Verisk trigger question to the corresponding cell on the input page.  The necessary spreadsheet formulas to drive the variable rating factor should be set up in the prior step - Completing the PostRaas Deviation Template.  The example shows linking the occurrence limit question.

Adding New Factors to Verisk Rating

If the new rating factor is static then it is reflected in the rating algorithm worksheet of the template.  If the rating factor is variable then link the trigger question to the corresponding cell on the input page.  The necessary spreadsheet formulas to drive the variable rating factor should be set up in the prior step - Completing the PostRaas Deviation Template.  The additional question is added during the product setup.  The example shows linking the custom coverage tier question.
