Setting up an OFAC check

Overview: The Dais platform allows you to configure an OFAC check to ensure your clients are not listed in a government database of sanctioned individuals and entities, essentially checking if they are allowed to conduct business in the United States. To set up an OFAC check within your product, follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the 'products' tab, then 'events and actions.'

2. Create a new event for 'compliance,' then select 'customer compliance check.'

3. Here, you can see the full breakdown of what the OFAC check entails, as well as the spot to add a score threshold for a verification pass and an optional message that will display to the user if the OFAC check fails.

5. Remember to enable and save your event!

6. You can also configure an event to send an email or payload to an API if the OFAC check fails by selecting the 'customer compliance check failed' option.
